Anise Veldkamp McClellan grew up in Sarasota, Florida before attending Florida State University where she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Literature and Religion.
Anise continued her education, earning a Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction before beginning a career as a public school teacher.
Anise, along with her husband, Keith, moved to the Orlando area in 2014 where Anise taught high school English for five years. Anise loved growing her students’ passion for literature but felt drawn to help children of all ages with challenges beyond the classroom.
Anise was inspired to study law due to her family’s interactions with the foster care system and was accepted to the University of Florida Levin College of Law. She has completed her first year in the Juris Doctorate program and is now exploring real world legal applications at the Coye Law Firm.
In her free time, Anise still enjoys reading classic literature as well as traveling with her husband and their pit-mix, Annabelle.
